In Their Own Words

"I have trained for years on career search, but you have proven to teach me something every time we talk. You and Justin, as Next Level Career Coaches, are a complementary team. I am a chemical engineer, but you have the chemistry. "

- David G. Nelson, PMP

"I signed up to take part in a free community career training workshop hosted by Next Level Career Coach.  I was not sure what to expect but gave it a chance.  I was pleased with the topics discussed by Rigobert and D'borah. Both were very knowledgeable and excited about the subject matters, which made me excited to have joined.  After the event, I spoke briefly with Rigobert and obtained his business card. This will be a company I will certainly recommend to my friends and family members who are looking for employment help.  Much thanks for offering this well needed workshop to the community."

"After 5 1/2 months of job hunting and a going on a few interviews, my friend recommended Next Level Career Coach.  I Googled and research them a bit.  I ultimately contacted them and spoke to Mr. Rig Noel.  We had a wonderful and uplifting conversation about the issues I was experiencing. Mr. Noel recommended that we met in person to further discuss my problems and to discuss how NLCC can help.  Our meeting was very convincing.  I decided to sign up then and began working shortly thereafter.  In the month Next Level Career Coach got involved, I have been on more interviews than prior.  Now, I am awaiting on final decisions on 3 of the companies I interviewed with.  I am pretty confident that I will get an offer for at least one company; regardless of what may happen, working with Next Level Career Coach was the best decision I was able to make.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service and helping to correct me."

“Working with Rig Noel and Next Level Career Coach has been such an uplifting experience.  From day one, I was contacted directly with an energetic and positive attitude about my future.  Rig’s spirit about my goals to one day work for a Top Accounting Firm was very motivating and promising.  As we worked one on one, he helped me understand that I had everything employers looked for in a candidate.  While I was finishing up my MBA at North Carolina A&T State University, we were in constant contact to ensure that I didn’t miss any opportunities for success.  Because of Next Level Career Coach, I will be starting with Grant Thornton this fall as an Auditor in the Boston Office.  I definitely recommend Next Level Career Coach for those who are looking for a career and not a job!”

“As I inched closer and closer to my undergraduate commencement from Worcester State College in 2009, I realized that the job market was growing ever increasingly more competitive and after seeing many promising leads disappear or become undesirable, I decided to enroll in a Master of Accounting program in Boston.  I saw the accounting program as an opportunity to better educate myself and prepare for an invigorating approach back into the job market.  It was from there, I soon met Rigobert Noel, Founder of Next Level Career Coach who instantly became my “go to professional counselor”.  Mr. Noel constantly challenged me and pushed me to take the steps necessary to succeed in the adult playing field, known as the real-world job market.

After our first meeting, he asked me to edit my resume based on our conversation and recorded a few mock interviews so that we could watch my interviews together and collaboratively assess my interview acumen or lack thereof.  We spent two days huddled up in front of a computer screen watching my acting debut as a means to develop the demeanor and rapport necessary to present myself in the light desired by prospective employers.  We not only studied the film, we also dove into external studies and documents, I started to leverage Rig’s professional experience to eventually get myself to the point where I was ready to apply and interview for audit position with the “Big 4” and other large national and regional professional services firms.  Suffice it to say, I walked away from my Master in Accounting program with a great degree, four amazing job offers and a career services relationship that turned in a professional resource and a great friendship.”

"Next Level Career Coach helped me build confidence.  I was really bad when speaking to professionals, which hurt my chances with employers.  The one on one work I did with Mr. Noel helped me developed the confidence I needed to approach employers.  Once I started implementing the strategies Rig and me discussed, I began to see how easy it was to engage employers.  Today, I am meeting with a lot of companies who have expressed interest in me.  I am confidence that after the new year, I will land something.  However, more importantly, I have developed and will continue to develop my confidence, especially when I speak to employers.  Mr. Noel is responsible for helping me.  Thank you Mr. Noel and Next Level Career Coach."

"I met Rig at a career fair several years ago.  Ten minutes into our discussion, I informed Rig of my interest to relocate to DC, as I wanted to move back closer to my family.  Rig offered to help.  Upon agreeing to hire Rig, he immediately reconstructed my resume so that I would have a powerful tool that I can use to market myself to employers.  We then started working on my "Impact Story".  As Rig put it, the "Impact Story helps job seekers develop and gather their thoughts so that they can communicate more effectively with employers".  Rig and I met weekly to discuss strategy and how to implement the things we discussed.  About three weeks of working with Rig, applying for jobs that fit my background and reaching out to professional contacts, I began receiving invites to interview.  I recall having 6 phone interviews with firms in the Washington, D.C. Area.  I was invited to 4 live interviews.  About a month or so after these interviews, I received 3 offers.  This was the first time that I had received multiple offers in such close timing.  To be honest, I was a bit overwhelmed.  Rig he helped me talk out each offer.  I eventually made a decision and accepted the offer I felt was better suited for what I was looking for.  I have to honestly say that, I could not have done all this without the help of Rig.  His knowledge of the job search process, his understanding of how to work and bring the best out of people and his ability to make things happen most certainly was the reason that my objective was met.  I am very happy of the outcome as I am back closer to my family and I am working with a great firm."

I met Rig through a colleague while I was working at Boston University in 2007-2008. Since then he has been a huge help in my professional development.  His skills as a career counselor are unmatched.

"After finishing graduate school in 2010, with a degree in International Development, an industry that had been significantly affected by the global economic downturn, finding a job in this industry was simply daunting. I had failed to get a job in the same industry in 2004. The combination of a bad job market and the fear of re-entry in an industry I hadn't worked in for over 6 years was simply paralyzing to me, until I sought Rig’s professional guidance.

Rig guided me to how to write winning resumes and cover letters, preparing for interviews but most importantly he taught me the importance of networking and informational interviews. He challenged me to use my natural gifts of easily talking to people as a networking tool; and how to use my experience of growing up and working in a developing country as a competitive advantage to re-enter my industry in the US market. Shortly after our sessions, I applied for five jobs; I interviewed with three of the organizations, and then was hired by one of them.

Rig’s ability and skill as a career coach is more than looking at your resume and giving you guidance. He challenges you to dig deep and develop self-confidence so that you can realize your own abilities to confidently compete for any job. That is what sets him apart from other career counselors."

"Rigobert Noel has been a tremendous mentor, coach and now someone I call a friend.  I have known Rig since I was in High School.  He was my Career Specialist at the time.  At the age of fourteen, Rig helped me get my very first summer job at MetLife.  This is where I started connecting the one on one work and workshops that Rig ran to help students like me gain professional skills.  While going through these training, the things that now stands out is how caring, passionate, focus, and patient Rig was with me and my peers. For me specifically, I needed that particular approach because I had no clue on what being a "professional" meant, nor had I ever been in a professional setting.  Because Rig helped change my outlook, I ended up being asked by MetLife to stay on board through the duration of my high school.

Now in my mid-twenties, I have been fortunate to accomplish a few things.  For example, I recently graduated from my nursing program at Bunker Hill Community College, took my Registered Nurses (RN) State Exam and now, I am a Licensed RN.  Prior to becoming an RN, I was a CNA.  I also worked at Beth Israel and Spaulding Rehabilitation Center while working to complete my nursing program.  Currently, I am enrolled at Emmanuel College with a 3.9 GPA.  I will also be starting my new job at Charlton Memorial Hospital as a Surgical Nurse.  All of these terrific things that has changed my outlook on life, I give thanks and credit to Rig.  As I had mentioned above, he was and Still is a huge key to my professional growth.  I would strongly recommend to any one who is looking for a real professional to hire Rig."

- Jermel Darget, Licensed Registered Nurse

"I was referred to Mr. Rig Noel by my friend.  As an international student, the biggest problems is my language skills, no experience in U.S. and access to companies that will hire international students.  Because I did not have any success in my school - Clark University before graduating in spring and it's my dream to work in the U.S. for one or two years before going back to China, I decided to hire Next Level Career Coach to help me fix some of my problems.  Upon talking to Rig, he was very positive and honest about the issues that international students face.  He also said that networking is a primary source to attracting employers.  My problem is that I did not know how Americans network and if I could do it like Americans.  This was different to me.  Working with Rig, I begin to learn how to network.  Rig helped me understand the proper ways to network and helped me practice by setting up informational talks with professionals he knows.  Also, Next Level Career Coach provided me access to positions.  Rig helped me apply with my new resume and updated cover letters he rebuild.  I got 3 interviews and one company offer me an internship.  I am very happy that I have been interning at a large asset management firm since July.  The company recently asked me to stay longer and there is a good chance they will sponsor me.  I am thank you for Rig and his business, Next Level Career Coach.  He has helped me a lot."
